About SAID
Formed in January 2004, the Society for Associated Inter-Tertiary Debaters is a non porfit civil society led by its President, Mr Loke Wing Fatt, with tenacious and dedicated support by its members from Singapore and abroad.

Our members, ex-tertiary debaters from various polytechnics, universities and educational institutions both from Singapore and Overseas, have a common passion for debating both locally and internationally in the following debating formats:
All-Asians, British Parliamentary, American Parliamentary, Austral-Asians, World Schools
The society aims to:
- Provide Debate, adjudicator and trainer trainings in the respective debate formats
- Organise Public Speaking, Debate Tournaments and Training Programmes
- Formulate Public Speaking, Trainer and Debate literature and curriculum
- Provide debate and public speaking adjudication services and mentorship

To be a society of excellence in the promotion of debating for tertiary students and working adults through the provision of a recognised platform for continual training, improvement and development of debating and adjudication standards in Singapore and Abroad.
